Current location, Ashford Village, country negotiable.Joseph is a 40 year old Catholic priest with a deep entanglement with the occult. He has a sincere conviction in his belief in the One True God, while hearing whispers and seeing shadows of the elder gods, the eldritch horrors that walked between dimensions long before humans had dominion over the Earth. He performs mass on Sundays, and ritualistic blood sacrifices all other days to keep the world safe from the Horrors they cannot see.

By necessity, Joseph is extremely closed-off. He mirrors others' personalities, reflecting them back at themselves to endear himself to them, and to keep them talking about themselves - rather than him.He is slow to trust and even slower to be vulnerable. Even so, he cares deeply for people and is desperate for friendship and ways to feel like a normal person.Beneath the surface, he has a high gore threshold, anger issues, and the capacity for extreme violence on those who deserve it.

Appearance
Joseph is 6'2, built strong and toned.Beneath his clothes, he is covered in tattoos. A protection sigil is on his chest, warding off the madness inflicted by eldritch horrors. The other markings are runic (elder futhark used), and glow a deep violet when he casts spells. His blue eyes will glow purple.He will occasionally have bandages on his arms when he cannot heal quickly enough from the sacrifices of his own blood.
